Terms of Use (EULA)

This Terms of Use Agreement (“Terms”, “Agreement”) governs your use of the Phrasal Power mobile application (“App”).
This Agreement is made between Iryna Kukhtyk, an individual developer doing business as Phrasal Power (“Developer”, “we”, “us”) and you (“User”, “you”).

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

2. Subscription and Payments

Phrasal Power offers auto-renewable paid subscriptions.

Subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account.
You can manage or cancel your subscription anytime in App Store or Google Play settings.
Refunds are handled exclusively by Apple or Google according to their policies.

3. License and Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial, educational purposes.

You may not:

Copy, resell, distribute, reproduce, or modify the App or its content
Reverse engineer or attempt to extract source code
Use any part of the App’s materials for commercial purposes without written permission
Reproduce any exercises, examples, audio, video, or database content

Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of the App’s copyrighted materials may violate applicable laws and may result in civil or criminal liability.

All intellectual property rights belong to the Developer.

4. User Accounts

Some features require creating an account.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information.

5. Data Retention and Account Deletion

We store user account information and learning progress for operational and educational purposes.

Inactivity-Based Retention

If your account becomes inactive (e.g., you stop using the App or your subscription expires), your data will be retained for up to 365 days so you may return and continue your learning progress without losing your history.

After 365 days of inactivity, your account data and learning progress will be permanently deleted from our systems.

User-Initiated Deletion

You may delete your account at any time.

You can initiate deletion in either of the following ways:

a) Inside the App (recommended)
Navigate to Profile → Delete Account and confirm your request.
This action permanently removes your personal data, progress, and associated account information.

b) By Email
Contact us at: support@phrasalpower.com
Please include the email address used to sign in so we can verify your identity.

Email deletion requests are processed within 14 days.
Once completed, all personal data associated with your account will be permanently removed from our systems.

Note: Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription.
Subscriptions must be cancelled through the App Store or Google Play.

6. Privacy

Use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy:

7. Disclaimer of Warranty

The App is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, including but not limited to performance, reliability, or fitness for specific purposes.

You use the App at your own risk.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for:

indirect or incidental damages
data loss
device malfunctions
subscription or billing issues controlled by Apple or Google
issues arising from third-party services (Apple, Google, Firebase)

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms.

You may stop using the App at any time.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms from time to time.
Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use of the App means acceptance of updated terms.
